Description

In Partnership with the Fontana Unified School District

Let us take away your worries of incomplete and incorrect homework assignments. Let us provide you and your family peace of mind and assure you your child's homework will be complete and accurate when you pick up your child from our program.

Here at "Empowering Success Now" we understand the importance of a good quality enriched afterschool and technology-based program, that's why we provide a well-balanced environment where children can perfect the skills they learn in school and be introduced to new ones. We aim to provide a comprehensive Afterschool Homework, Technology and Enrichment Program, where students receive on-on-one assistance with their homework to ensure that it is accurate and complete.

Our " Homework Program" helps students complete take-home assignments/projects, prepare for tests, and fix errors on returned assignments to improve learning. We have trained staff who are capable of providing learning support in Mathematics, English, and Language Arts, as well as support for other subjects. Students will also be tutored in problem areas, introduced to new technologies, receive college, career, workforce readiness guidance, in addition to introducing them to different careers, industries while educating them about college, military, employment and entrepreneurship. Also, as part of the curriculum we will administer evidence-based curriculum in areas such as anger management, cognitive life skills, drug, alcohol and gang prevention.

In addition, we include an enrichment element to include topics kids are not taught in the classroom. People always say students are not taught about life and soft skills in schools such as Financial Literacy, Etiquette, the importance of credit, how to budget etc. Our enrichment program includes: professional, life, workforce, soft skills curriculum in areas such as financial literacy, goal setting, self-perception, time management, leadership, etiquette, peer pressure, positive thinking, goal setting, social responsibility, accountability, problem solving, teamwork cultural, diversity, critical thinking and other life and professional skills.

Parent Component

Our goal is to be a place of resource for parents who are looking for help for their children and place where parents are educated and encouraged to be active in their students' academic and life success as we understand parents' involvement in their childes academic and personal endeavors, are critical to their child’s Academic success and personal and mental development.

Our parent engagement portion of the program is designed to increase.
parent engagement with the goal to provide resources, training and support to strengthen positive parenting practices, improve emotional and behavioral challenges with their children, promote child social and emotional development, increase parents’ involvement in their children mental and educational lives while enhancing parent and child dynamics and relationship.

Mental Wellness Support

As mental health and wellness is a growing concern amongst our youth and families, our program aims to address students' family life and academic problems by having a licensed therapist on site to address any immediate mental, life, family, or school concerns that would negatively affect students academic and personal success.

Overall, the goal of the program is to be a one stop shop resource center that provides youth and their families with academic assistance, college and career guidance, educational resources, and mental health support to help students overcome academic, personal and family barriers that hinders a student's ability to thrive and succeed.
